Knives Out

Recently, I got to go to the movies to watch Knives Out. Honestly, when I went to the movies I didn't know what to expect. All I knew was that it was sort of similar with the game Clues. In the beginning, it was sort of boring because it went over a lot if background. As soon as they brought in the characters, I found it interesting on how each characters personality is very different and how it stays important throughout the movie. The most important and interesting thing in the movie in my opinion was the number of plot twists happening. All of them were exciting rather than boring. With these plot twists, it wasn't just me watching the movie, but I was actually trying think and at times almost yell out my guesses. To me, I thought it was a good movie because things happened unexpectedly and I think that's good because I don't think it's much fun watching something and being able predict what happens next almost every scene. Also, it is considered as a thriller/drama movie, but I liked how in some parts of the movie they brought in comedy. I highly recommend others to watch this, it is a very interesting movie.

Introduction - My Relationship with Media Currently, my relationship with media plays a huge part in my life and for a majority of people as well. I mostly use media to entertain myself. Whenever I get bored, I tend to go on my phone and watch videos for hours. For example, one time I was doing the list of chores my mother gave me, but I got really bored of it so I ended up going on Instagram. When I checked the time, hours went by and it was getting late, my parents were soon going to be home, and I haven't finished any of the chores I was supposed to do. While watching this commercial about Universal Studios, we could see how spending time with family, having fun with our loved ones, and experiencing things we are missing out from were being portrayed throughout the entire message of this commercial. Because love, affect, and fun were being depicted we could clearly see how that is Universal Studios love mark and it fits the meaning of love marks, loyalty beyond reason. In the commercial it shows a family and it also displays many scenes of the rides "coming to life" to give a more exciting and adventurous feeling or emotion when we watch this commercial to make us have the urge to go and see what was being portrayed in the commercial in real life. When in reality, it might not be exactly what kids or even parents have expected on these commercials.
