- Free Choice - I really found this music video interesting compared to others because it included very important messages they've asked people to drop in their thoughts in a box during Lauv's tour. Instead of portraying Lauv singing his song in the music video, it instead showed very talented dancers, but seemed to be only a black figure and the background is a well lit blue that really made the dancers stand out. To me, they used this video to help remind those that are struggling that they aren't alone. I have find this significant because not all music videos do this. Out of all the music videos I've ever watched, this one so far is the only one that conveys these type of problems everyone goes through at one point in their lives, and uses these in a positive way to encourage people. While watching this commercial about Universal Studios, we could see how spending time with family, having fun with our loved ones, and experiencing things we are missing out from were being portrayed throughout the entire message of this commercial. Because love, affect, and fun were being depicted we could clearly see how that is Universal Studios love mark and it fits the meaning of love marks, loyalty beyond reason. In the commercial it shows a family and it also displays many scenes of the rides "coming to life" to give a more exciting and adventurous feeling or emotion when we watch this commercial to make us have the urge to go and see what was being portrayed in the commercial in real life. When in reality, it might not be exactly what kids or even parents have expected on these commercials. - Free Choice - I rarely listen to this song, but lately I've noticed that I listen to this song only when I feel a certain way. I happen to listen to this song when I'm sad, stressed, or at times when I feel like "vibing." When I listen to this song, it helps me relax and calm down and I think this is because of its rhythm or beat and not necessarily it's lyrics. I don't know why, but when I'm sad, I tend to listen to "sad songs" that end up making me more sad and to be honest I don't know why I do that to myself and this is one of those songs. Yes, listening to this song makes me sad at times, but after it makes feel better about myself in some type of way that is hard to explain. As for "vibing", to me it means sort of having an emotional connection or feeling with the people we're around or what we listen to for different reasons. Throughout the case supporting the impeachment of the President, it describes Donald Trump engaging with foreign countries and power being "corrupt." In other words, saying that the power Trump holds uses it irresponsibly and unfairly. Trump was suspected of asking other countries for help and investigating his opponents. This helps understand how this is causing an impeachment hearing. Trumps personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani, was told by Trump to help him by leading an investigation on Ukraine. This shows another example of why there would be supporters in favor of the impeachment. It is shown to be wrong to take advantage of the power he has and to use it selfishly. It is being said that the White House is forbidding people to assist with justifying Trumps wrongdoings. This shows how there are corrupt people working under the White House. - Free Choice - Last week, I got to watch an episode of one of my favorite Tv shows,  All American. I think how it's interesting and catches my attention is how it is based on a true story and that it displays real life scenarios. I feel like in every episode they were displaying a problem people could relate to, but at the end they also showed a solution to these problems. So far, I think the overall message in this show so far is that through tough times, family and friends will always be there for you which also represents loyalty. Throughout the show, a few stereotypes were being displayed. For example, a rich community versus a poorer community, peoples social status, and at times the color of peoples skin. For the majority of the show, it was based on a character who came from a poor community and transferred to a rich community as a student athlete and portrays the many difficulties he runs into throughout his life. Introduction - My Relationship with Media Currently, my relationship with media plays a huge part in my life and for a majority of people as well. I mostly use media to entertain myself. Whenever I get bored, I tend to go on my phone and watch videos for hours. For example, one time I was doing the list of chores my mother gave me, but I got really bored of it so I ended up going on Instagram. When I checked the time, hours went by and it was getting late, my parents were soon going to be home, and I haven't finished any of the chores I was supposed to do. Besides using media when I'm bored, I also use media as a useful source, especially when it has to do with school. I use media to help do research and whenever I feel stuck on a project or on a homework assignment, media is a way I try to communicate with others.
